Student Assistant - Welding & Non-Destructive Testing Department

525684 Anchorage, Alaska, United States Student Employee Student Assistant 2 UAA Community & Technical College Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of tools and welding equipment.
Works under general or intermittent supervision.
Required Education or Training: High school graduate or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year experience with tools and equipment used in welding industry is required.
Be enrolled in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester (fall, spring or summer).
Note: Students taking a break from classes during the summer are still eligible for Federal Work Study if enrolled in six or more credit hours the following fall.
If students are not registered for summer or fall classes they cannot be a student employee in the summer.
AWS certifications preferred.
Successful completion of WELD A101 preferred.
Salary Information: This is a Student Assistant 2 position with a minimum wage of $12.
27 per hour.
