Chauffeur

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Chauffeur to join our team at SALA.
This role is critical in providing safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for individuals requiring medical assistance to and from healthcare facilities.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
* Assist patients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to schedules and routes.
* Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness.
* Comply with all transportation regulations and company policies.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
*Requirements:* * Valid Alaska driver’s license and 5 year clean driving record.
* Minimum age of 25 years * Chauffeurs License preferred * Previous experience in NEMT or similar role preferred.
* Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
* Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
* Background check and drug screening required.
