Job Overview: The Marketing & Communications Coordinator provides support to CGS Corporate Communications.
This is an exciting personal and professional development opportunity for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about communicating and engaging with our diverse community of employees, shareholders and customers.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties & Job Functions: Provides assistance with developing collateral, including brochures, board reports, and miscellaneous communications material as requested.
Updates content as directed on CGS’s external website.
Updates CGS employee Portal (SharePoint) as needed.
This may include updating images, graphics, and content including content development of monthly internal articles.
Supports all CGS Departments and Subsidiaries as required.
Assists with drafting marketing/communications content for a variety of organizational communications channels such as press releases, brochures and other publications as directed.
Coordinate and maintain Glassdoor profile.
Reviews marketing/communications material to ensure consistency and adherence to Chugach’s graphic standards, language and voice styles.
Provides support developing PowerPoint presentations and slide decks as needed.
Provides general administrative support as assigned.
Performs related work on special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements: Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, marketing, communications or business degree (or similar area of study), OR, two or more years related experience in marketing and/or communications field.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in digital and social media channels.
Experience in administrative procedures, policies, and practices.
Demonstrated intermediate skills in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Extremely organized, detail-oriented and analytical.
Ability to work independently, multitask and perform multiple duties on short notice.
