*About us* Sign on bonus $5,000 for unlicensed, $10,000 for licensed clinician) Sign-on Compassionate Directions, also known as CODI, operates a compassionate not-for-profit behavioral health outpatient clinic for children (ages infant through 21) and families in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
*Title*: Clinician, Master Level or Licensed *Status*: Fulltime, Salary *Reports To*: Clinical Director and Executive Director *Position Summary:* Responsible for identifying and implementing appropriate therapeutic treatment for children from early childhood to 21as part of a clinical treatment team.
A clinician will meeting with clients and families for assessments, treatment plan development, and provide individual, family, and/or group therapy.
Supervision for licensure is provided.
*Essential Duties: * 1.
Administer integrated behavioral health assessment following CareLogic intake to include: ACE Score, Client Status Review and Alaska Screening Tool.
Provide diagnosis and generate a treatment plan.
2.
Lead the treatment team in ongoing client status review treatment planning at regular intervals, as well as ad hoc based on client need.
3.
Provide individual, family and group therapies, and continuing care/discharge planning.
4.
Maintain a caseload 20 to 25 clients.
5.
Responsible for providing timely and accurate Medicaid/insurance and other clinical documentation.
6.
Responsible for maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with clients, coalitions, community members and agencies, and co-workers.
7.
Responsible for maintaining and promoting ethical clinical practices consistent with professional standards, the agencies and one’s own ethics code and the client’s right to be treated with dignity and respect consistent with laws: HIPAA/42CFR/HITECH, and mandated reporting under direction of the Clinical Director or designee.
8.
Follow State of Alaska and Federal Medicaid Regulations and applicable laws.
9.
Responsible for positive, clear, and direct communication, solution-focused mind set and commitment to quality evidence-based best practices.
10.
Responsible for participating in/facilitating internal and external meetings related to clients.
11.
Participate in routine staff meetings.
12.
Participate in weekly individual/group clinical and administrative supervision with Clinical Director.
13.
Other duties as assigned.
*Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications:* *Education/Credentials*: Required Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
Prefer license to practice in the State of Alaska: PhD, LPA, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
Active progress toward licensure.
*Experience*: Prefer two years of related behavioral health clinical experience but not required.
*Certification/Licensing & Other Requirements: * 1.
Prefer current license to practice in the State of Alaska: PhD, LPA, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
2.
Willing to train for First Aid/CPR and Blood Bourne Pathogen certification and every two years following hire.
3.
Pass TB Screening test document and every year following hire.
4.
Pass a Background History Check and every two years following hire.
5.
Sign a confidentiality acknowledgement.
